Empowering dental futures

Providing support for exam preparations and launching practices

The Holly Marie Project was established in memory of Holly Marie Wagner, a proud alumna of Fisk University who aspired to become a dentist. Tragically, on August 3, 2024, while preparing for the Dental Admission Test, Holly and her best friend lost their lives in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. She was only 25 years old and never had the chance to fulfill her dream. To honor her daughter’s legacy, Cynthia Wagner founded The Holly Marie Project to support fellow Fisk University alumni in achieving their dreams of becoming dentists. The project provides financial assistance for dental exam preparation and helps graduates launch their own private practices, ensuring Holly’s passion for dentistry lives on through others.

MISSION

Our mission is to empower future dental students by providing funding for exam preparation, exam fees, and the set-up of successful dental practices after graduation.  We are dedicated to ensuring that students have access to the resources they need to excel and that new dentists can launch their practices with confidence, ultimately fostering a community of skilled practitioners committed to making a positive impact in oral healthcare.
